She's gorgeous and has a hot body, but she always looks smug in candids and on the red carpet.

Actress Amber Heard rumored to be cast in Hunter S. Thompson film “The Rum Diary”
It is largely rumored that Amber Heard from “Pineapple Express” will play a lead role in Johnny Depp’s adaptation of a Hunter S. Thompson novel “The Rum Diary”. This will be the second film based on a Hunter S. Thompson novel in which Depp will play the lead character, previously Depp played Thompson himself in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”. The widely anticipated movie is supposed to begin filming later this year and is rumored to be directed by Bruce Robinson.

ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE’s Amber Heard is becoming quite the busy genre actress of late. Hot on the heels of the news that she’ll star in John Carpenter’s upcoming THE WARD, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that she has joined the ensemble of Columbia’s ZOMBIELAND.
In the horror/comedy, to be directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, Heard will appear in a cameo role as the romantic interest of the character played by Jesse Eisenberg. She becomes undead, joining the flesheating hordes threatening a motley group of survivors that also includes Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone. Child actress Abigail Breslin was reported last month to be in talks to play Stone’s younger sister, but confirmation of her casting has yet to surface; ZOMBIELAND rolls soon in Atlanta for release October 9. In addition to the aforementioned films, Heard also co-stars in Screen Gems’ STEPFATHER remake, due out October 16.

new movie
Amber and Odette Yustman have signed on to star in And Soon the Darkness, a remake of the 1970 British thriller being co-produced and co-financed by Studio Canal.

Heard also is making her first foray into producer territory, acting as a co-producer on the film, which marks the feature directorial debut of commercials helmer Marcos Efron.

Set in Argentina, Darkness tells the story of two American girls on a bike-riding trip in a remote part of the country. When one of them goes missing, the other must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized.

The original was set in France and tackled the idea of how vulnerable a stranger in a strange land can be.

The new Darkness will shoot in Argentina.
