^i agree with everything you said!
i'm not saying Syesha doesn't have a personality but apart from not connecting with the songs and audiences, we've seen it before. we've seen her kind in the competition before and therefore doesn't bring anything new and that i think is what's keeping the votes away from her.
i still don't get David Archuleta's appeal up to now
but he'll obviously get into the top 2. David Cook is the silent killer in the competition. you just know he'll end up on the top 2/3. Jason is faltering compared to the two boys. i like the fact that he's a singer/songwriter but i think he was already put in a box. Brooke on the other hand, has the charisma, very organic and the personality even if something bad happens. she really connects with her songs and knows the full drama that comes along with performing. i think the voters are tired of the manufactured kind of contestants so it's easy for them to forgive Brooke's blunders. she's a fresh air with all the instrument playing and yes, even her mistakes
i have to admit i'm partial to singer/songwriters/instrument playing artists but Brooke needs to pull herself together

and i completely agree that she is refreshing {i think jason is too} and that that's why she's made it this far. she clearly doesnt have the vocal strength or range of people like carly or syesha, but she's so REAL and not manufactured at all, and i think this season is the season for the underdog.! at least i hope

), Michael Johns (the early exit makes him to watch out for and i believe he really has the talent and the charisma
)
)
....i just hope David Archuleta won't go down the Clay Aiken road because i can totally see him. he actually has the makings...if you get what i mean....
