I believe that since trends repeat themselves, an American "invasion" will happen again. I feel like because American models were so big in the 80's and 90's it's going to take a while for their popularity to resurface but it will. Right now it's Canada but that too shall pass.

American Models

Where have they all gone? I really miss them on the runways and in editorials. I know there is not one American look but I associate them with a "healthy" image-- great hair, smiles, and nice physiques. This seems to be the opposite of the boney an somber look favored by designers today. I thought I would start an appreciation thread.

One of my favorite American models is Bridget Hall. I loved her Ralph Lauren Safari campaign but can't seem to find pictures of it.
