It was very befitting that Amy Adams looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards as she took a turn last night in the official opening night performance of hit musical Into The Woods.
The 37-year-old actress was appropriately a doughy mess for her 'roll' as a baker's wife in the open-air production at the Delacorte Theatre in New York City’s Central Park - but only in appearance.
Adams - along with the rest of the cast, including True Blood's Denis O’Hare (as the baker) and theatre star Donna Murphy (the witch) - won rave reviews.

Somehow, this look isn't working for me. I think you have to be really tall to pull this dress off like on the runway (and the runway version is a much better dress). I also don't like the shoes with the dress. They stick out like a sore thumb.

I like her relationship with Giambattista, can't wait to see how it turns out for this year award season. As for this dress in particular, it could've been a great look but the lenght and the way it hangs on her isn't very flattering.
