Andrew Garfield

thanks for the trailer. it's okay i guess, just nothing too spectacular. he looks cute in it, that's for sure. :)

My prayers were answered! A trailer and it looks good! Maybe a little cheesy at the end, but still good!

The trailer is kind of short but I liked it...He certainly looks good as Peter :p

I like it, it´s a bit darker than the previous movies isn´t it...?
the first person view is very video game-ish :)

the trailer look promising! ^_^ I'm surprised though that they take us to the beginning again. I mean we saw how Peter Parker turned into spiderman in the first movie with Tobey Maguire, didn't we? or are there different beginnings of the story in the comics as well? (I'm not familiar with them)

that's what interests me too, i think Tobey got bitten by the spider in that museum, no?

I think it´s because it´s a reboot, scratch everything and start again sort of thing...

Tobey was bitten in a lab.

2012 will be a crazy year with this and The Dark Knight Rises, I can't wait. :buzz: :buzz: :buzz:

in a lab? my memory really serves me badly.
i get it's a reboot, but it's not like it's not made based on a comic. what's the purpose of it if you change the original and real story?

^but isn´t Andrew also bitten in a lab? it´s the same story after all...
and though it´s based on a comic book they´re taking creative licenses eg Peter meets Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn while in college not high school. I´m sure there are other differences but those are the ones I can remember :)

i thought it looked like some SF part of a museum. :ninja: you're right, sorry. :flower:

It was at a lab on a school trip. It did look like a museum. While the setting also appears to be in a lab in this film, it seems to be a lot darker and under different circumstances. In the comic book, he was bitten at a science exhibit.

^^no problem :)
I want to know what´s the deal with his parents... I don´t remember them from the comic books (granted, I was never a hard core fan).
Wonder if he runs into a model in the Hearst Corporation building LOL
It looks like Gwen is working in the lab?

btw, is there a Spiderman thread? we´re gonna get deleted...

Well it's a reboot, and where the original films placed when in high school instead of university together, I think this film focuses more on his relationship with Gwen Stacey instead of Mary Jane. Thus, Emma being blonde. What I'd love to know is whether or not Stacey dies in this film, or the next installment.

The teaser really justifies that this is more faithfully adapted and Andrew can still look really young in some scenes. I know this is more darker and gritty but Spider-Man is also a pretty funny character though (which I guess they left out on purpose).

Can't wait though, so many superhero films next year haha !

i just saw the trailer & im sooo excited to see the movie. it does look a little dark but andrew looks all deep, bruting and moody which i find crazy sexy.
