Andrew Garfield

No, not publicly! Biff is such a great role though, I'm sure Andrew will be great, and Mike Nichols is directing so it looks like it will be one of the major hitters next season.Expect Tony Awards buzz.

Well I guess Andrew would of still had an edge over the other guys that audition because he already worked with the producer of the play Scott Rudin on The Social Network. Does anyone know if that movie he was attached to with Jennifer Garner is still going forward?

^then why tease? :huh::P

Honestly, I do it without out thinking, I talk about this stuff day in day out and I have to censor my brain with just about every conversation I have about this stuff. If it's an issue I'll stop bringing anything that way inclined up.:flower:

^ Do you know if Andrew would of had to audition or do you think he is at the stage of his career that he doesn't have too? I would imagine though for the top directors, if you want to work with them you have to do it.

Most actors will go in to read, particularly for a theatre piece. Even well established actors, many like to go in and read for a part-it does depend on ego though! Sometimes they put themselves on tape, but most directors, particularly theatre ones, like face-to-face. We've flown people to NY on short notice just to read a paragraph and come home again in the past. Of course a past history with a member of the creative team will always help, Andrew is a rising star, but not enough power yet that he wouldn't been seen for this at all before getting the role, even with Rudins involvement.

Thank You :flower: I've always heard that well established actors not all of course don't like to audition because like you said it's an ego thing. Frankly I think it's best to audition, make sure your right for the part :lol:

Glad to see Andrew and Emma spotted again. They'll probably say nothing, neither confirm or deny.

I don't really like the leather jacket and beard look on him. I prefer the nerdy innocence of his character in Never Let Me Go or the nerdy suave look in The Social Network :glare:

I love his halloween costume. There's just something very sexy about a guy in a varsity jacket :lol:

^Thank you. Though the only new still is the first one, the others were posted a few months ago :smile:
