I love his music Since Twin Peaks and all the amazing soundtracks he has made since then. His atmospherics are so wonderfully haunting and his music as a whole is so unique and lovely. A sinister vibe yet beautiful and always fits the respective mood perfectly.

Just wondering if there are any other big fans

I like his music very much, especially soundtracks to David Lynch's movies - Blue Velvet, Mulholland Dr., Wild At Heart, and - of course! - Twin Peaks. Not to mention Industrial Symphony No.1. Watched it, like, 1000 times
Oddly, most of my friends never even heard of him...

I have the Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me soundatracks and I absolutely love them!They are two of my favourite albums. I will never get tired of them.
I find his music breathtakingly beautiful and haunting. I haven't listened to other soundatracks that he has composed for. But I want to.

another big fan here. although I do not find the music as something to be described in words, enough to say his is on my play list most often. I just adore Mulholland Drive soundtrack.

@ vlam - Like you say about your friends not knowing him, it is funny how his name is not so popular, but I'm sure if most people hear his work they will recognize it.

yeah,blue velvet....twin peaks....a few scores from lost highway. AND indeed industrial symphony. he also produced some amazingly,hauntingly beautiful tracks for marianne faithfull on her a secret life album. especially that stunning sleep.

he also did the Secretary soundtrack ... it's not as edgy as the Lynch stuff, but there's still a few cool tracks
