Anita Pallenberg

Has anyone read Marianne Faithfuls biography - reflections I think ... her last biog had quite a lot about Anita in it and I'm curious to see if her new book does too

I certainly read it and more than once. Marianne Faithfull auto-bio is absolutly a must for insight about Pallenberg. A great book!

There are a few books about Marianne but the best is her auto-bio. "As Tears Go By" is not bad either. Of course, Anita Pallenberg is mentionned in all of them. I also enjoyed "Blown Away"; a book about the Stones and full of quotes from the people who were there; Marianne, Anita, etc...

^what a wonderful,wonderful find. thank you...
just found this one two days ago,if I remember correctly it was taken during this year's london film festival at the screening of "mr. lonely"-james fox (her former colleague in "performance")was there too:

btw,"candy" has got to be one of the most wicked flicks ever. I laughed my head off half of the time...

There is a video/slideshow of the screening too. There are a few pics of Anita. I didn't care for the song that went along with it, I would recommend using the mute button :innocent:

Also - apparently August issue of Russh (australian mag) had Anita Pallenberg article in it - was there anything new in this?

Actually, it was the September issue. There was nothing new- a short bio, a few of photos, & some Anita inspired cosmetics. However, the fact the piece appeared has made me a Russh fan for life!

Thanks nicovelvet. I've only read Faithfull ... will look out for the others

thanks darlin.
I've only ever seen Russh when I was in australia in Jan 06 - I thought it was a great mag - can't seem to buy in it London

Not sure if it's been mentioned here - but The Cheap Date Guide to Style (co-authored by stylist Bay Garnett - who is a huge AP fan) has a lot of Pallenberg influences. There is also a rare interview with her on her style.

I gave the copy to a friend so I can't scan sorry!!

Beautiful photo 60swildchild! Do you know if this pic was to promote A Degree of Murder?

^the pic wildchild posted is actually a scan of the german "bravo" teen magazine. the quote beneath her pic says,"anita pallenberg can be glad. she's starring in a film for the first time. and she's even playing the leading role.she was perfectly happy when brian jones visited her in munich. we can't say the same, because the "stone" demonstrated us very bad taste and ill manners." basically, it's a quite poorly written and polemic article condemning brian for the infamous nazi uniform photo shoot. (quote: "do NOT come back! at least NOT like that!"...)

Karma for the translation Danabnormal :flower:
oh,you're very welcome! you girls provide all the beautiful scans,I'm just your humble translator... :D
BUT I actually found some more yet unposted pics yesterday.

IMO she's looking fierce at the film screening! looking healthy, and the clothes are awesome.

In the first photo the color is a bit off, her hair looks more yellow than blonde, it is interesting though ;)
