Thanks for the new photo 60swildchild!! She looks very thin. Also loved the little clip!! (I like your new Avatar too).

I'm a huge fan of those pictures posted in #756 and #759  Very interesting and beautiful!

Thanks so much for posting all these breathtaking pictures! She certainly as incredibly stunning!!! She still is.

Uh oh, just found this odd recent pic on gettyimages.
Is that her, actually? Soemthing makes me think that's not even her, even though it says so on getty. Maybe it's just the shades that make this pic look so weird? To me it doesn't look much like Anita for whatever reason.

Okay I took a closer look at it and came to the conclusion that it IS indeed Anita. Look at the eyes behind the shades and you see it.
The smile's cute.

Anita Pallenberg: fashion icon

Anita Pallenberg
A fashion icon is transcendant.

They were able to find the illusive, fashion fountain of youth. A style so fresh that decades of young women aspire to attain it. Their look is emulated and often imitated. They lend inspiration to designers, artists, and musicians. A fashion icons influence is endless. And this icon is alive in the bangles we stack, the hats we don and the scarves we tie. Anita Pallenbergs style is definitley alive.

Born January 25th, 1944 in Rome to an Italian artist and a German secretary, her european roots led to a life of style, glamour and rock n roll. Her relationships with Brian Jones, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards made her the bands muse and confidant. Her torrid relationship with drugs heightened the passionate and sometimes volatile life she led. Her love affair with Keith would last from 1967 to 1979 and produced three children. She was a model, actress, and now a fashion designer. And who better to invent looks than the woman who inspired so many trends. She is the ulitmate rock n roll goddess of fashion, and she always will be.

Her earthy sexuality and bewitching charm is evident in all she wore. Wearing floppy hats everywhere, mini skirts, and scarves she was the epitome of boho chic in the 70's. Patterned tights, floral mini dresses, low slung belts and knee high boots were staples of her vast wardrobe. She donned floaty tunics, gladiator sandals, long peasant skirts and ethnic jewelry. Bangs were also a staple of the Pallenberg look, which poked out of her ever present hats. Big fur coats and studded belts, hot pants and big sunglasses made her statement. She was the queen of boho-rocker-chic.

To do it yourself :Don't go all out. Just add a few Pallenberg inspired pieces.
With a mini dress add bangles, a belt or gladiator sandals.
With a peasant skirt add a tank and a printed silk scarf
Add hats to any basic jean and tank combo.

Do a blunt bang, very Pallenberg

Anita's style is easy to incorporate into any look. Find some Pallenberg staples and mix and match until you have achieved the rocker girl chic she embodied so well. We all need a little glam rock in our wardrobe. So try the Pallenberg look and live like a boho rock queen.

I don't think that's Anita yougotthesilver...getty gets it wrong a lot

Yeah, I just came online to tell you I don't think it's her. Wasn't sure yesterday at first and then I posted it is her, because when I took a closer look I thought it was her, but later last night when I was sitting in the living room with my mom and we both were reading our books, I suddenly thought out loud "No, it's not Anita, unless she has had beauty surgery that completely deformed her face." and my mom was like "Sorry, What was that?"  And I thought Oops, have I said this out loud now?

Something in the smile makes me thinks it's her and then something makes me say no. Maybe it's all the mascara under the sunglasses. I like the hair cut though, if it is her.

I wonder who this woman is. I mean it is like she is looking like AP on purpose: Same glasses, haircut, haircolor, even her lipstick is the same shade. Weird.
