guys i need your help...
i realize what my footwear issue is...
i NEED to get hold of a pair of S/S 07 blk wedges w/pointy toe shoes...
the ones that tie around the ankle...

that is the shoe i need to make a whole bunch of things work and it just came back to me...
i knew there was a reason i was obsessing about a pointy toe but not liking anything i found...
it is because i already knew in teh back of my mind what shoe it was...
i just didn't realize it...

so......
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

if anyone comes across a pair of these wedges in a size 38...
i would be very grateful if you could send me a PM...
i realize it's not current season...
but these days things turn up when you least expect it...
so maybe i will get lucky...

luckyme says that they run a bit big so i guess a size 37 or 371/2 might actually be better...

You're welcome, I look there often so no problem, as I'm also in the hunt for
a pair of Ann Demeulemeester boots ...

And I did find the boots I was looking for on superfuture, but the
size is way to big and on Ebay, but seller starting bid is ridiculous!
The one one on SuperFuture is the calfskin ss 07 version, and on Ebay is the a/w 07/08 version I'm also interested in. Preferable size 41/42
but a size 43 can be workable ...

Any help would be very appreciated! ...

dilemma...if you got a great deal on a long black basic ann d. wool vest and you're still not sure its going to become a staple, would you keep it? I guess my question is (I know they are impossible to find, never mind for a great price), but how much do you wear yours? I do tend to like funky pieces so this might really make me regret parting with it. keep in mind I'm only 5'2 so the length concerns me a bit, but that's the key to the look. p.s. I also have the pants in the runway photo.

my pants came today from yoox......
they are sort of big...
but they are really high waisted and i LOVE that...
so i am going to make it work...
the washed lightweight gauze-y wool is YUM!!...
...

*i seem to always be between sizes in all pants...
at least i can get them taken in if absolutely necessary...

and of course i need to chop off 1/2 the leg......

I knew those pants would be awesome. her wools are TDF.

the vest is way too long on me, there is no way around it...it's just made for a taller gal or fella. oh well...someone over 5'5" will get lucky.

the sheer pants are perfect instead of a legging. I'm quite in love with them, so dirty flirty.

Oh lucky, that's a shame about the waistcoat. I really hate it when that happens, especially with pieces that just can't be altered. The eyelet pants are adorable though--how will you wear them?

softie, those shoes were EVERYWHERE on sale after the spring season! So funny...I distinctly remember you not liking them! Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if a pair shows up on ebay...i will keep my eyes peeled and for multi's boots as well.

**I like the direction you are taking with your style lately, btw...pants are feeling very right for me too lately, so elegant and cool.

thanks laika, I loved the pant when I first saw it on the runway. I have a mid-calf black thin silk tank dress with a big slit up the side (I always had to pin it before) that is ideal for this type of pant. I also might try the new wide leg yohji cargo pants I just bought rolled up over them or the yohji black apron dress...it will be fun experimenting
