Um, what an unfortunate name.

I deal mostly with Alan. I'm also trying to eschew the "retail therapy" philosophy and not spend any money. OK, not quite as much money. Well, I'll just settle for spending less money, really.

Hahaha, yeah I thought that too. Alan has always been nice, but "flighty".

Anyways, I hear you on the retail therapy philosophy. Just needed some new pieces and to feel a bit better before med school interview on friday


Back on the topic... I wonder why aloharag picked up really odd/boring Ann pieces. The leather jacket is nice, but everything else is kinda blah.

I almost bought the jacket of the same material as your shirt, with the high buttoned vent, and the really long sleeves. I just couldn't do the $1200 right then, though. I'm still thinking on it. I'd like to know what Atelier is selling it for, too..

It's $1075 at Barneys.

There was only one hanging, in L. It doesn't mean anything yet, but usually they have more than one size hanging on the racks, plus some in stockroom. I doubt they'll have XXS though. The might have the XS, call them up.

New Ann D. on Aloha Rag - a couple of messenger bags,the paint tees but in short sleeve, new paint-splattered shoes, a key-necklace, a blue roll-sleeve shirt but in cotton this time, and a GORGEOUS 3D cut striped sweater in black/white made of cotton and cashmere (one of the few nice things they have there apart from the other sweater, the jackets,the necklace, and the paint-slash tees)- very light fabric, perfect for spring, too....

I belive http://www.aloharag.com had it, but it looks like they sold out quick. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I e-mailed aloharag and atelier new york and both replied by saying that they didnt order the sweater. I'm surprised its seems a pretty nice sweater would think it would sell well.

And i dont think it's that expensive, i saw the sleeveless version for about US$300. So cant imagine that, with sleeves, it would be more then $350 - 400. Almost bought the sleeveless one but didnt know what to wear it with.

One other detail I'd like to mention - if you have the slightest hint of anything other than a washboard stomach, the jumper is not really for you! It is quite "clingy" because of the fabric and bias cutting, so it really shows any imperfections.
