pre-ordered the corset belt B) (x 5 belts, not the big mother that's like a foot wide). hope a small fits me-- it's always such a drag to order from europe and keep one's fingers crossed as it comes over the pond that it fits you.

I wore my Ann Demeulemeester lace up sandals properly for the first time yesterday and came away with a couple of blisters. Anyone who owns these shoes, can you tell me if they wear in slightly or should i get the plasters ready for the next wear? It was the metal eyelets that caused the damage!

cloojoo: mine hurt me at first too, but I loosened the laces right where the painful eyelets were and I was able to wear them with no problem.

I wrote about this on my blog, but they give me a bit of rubbing in the same spot (the eyelets on the very bottom) I pre-bandaid with Band-aid's "Advanced Healing Blister" bandaids (they are amazing, I swear- so cushy) on the two toes where I get the rubbing, and I'm good to go for the whole day!

In my experience (but I have very sensitive feet) the leather breaks in of course, but if you have eyelet rubbing, you will always have eyelet rubbing. I've tried to wear mine without bandaids and I still get the eyelet rub.

Ann D Ankle Sandals

These are fakes right... most prob. Ann D Ankle Sandals doesn't have a strap before the toe loop.
but they look super convincing though. or are these the modification ones?

^ I've only seen ones like you said, with no strap.

also... these people are blurring out 'demeulemeester' on the auction pics... and in the title of the auction it only says "ann d"... it seems suspicious definitely.

^^ Agreed, I've only seen the one toe-strap - no foot strap. Plus the sole looks funny. All the Ann shoes I own have a suede-like sole, and are in a black box, not white (but maybe men's come in white boxes?).
Good call on the blurring, Inaya. Overall... these look very suspicious to me

yeah the eyelets give me blisters where the others describe. I keep meaning to pre-bandaid but I always forget. If I just wear them for a couple hours I don't really have a problem. It's more like if it's an all day, or heavy walking type of thing that I get blisters. Other than the blisters though - SO comfy. Surprisingly so

mine were bothersome at first but after 2 wears they are perfectly comfortable. i did loosen up the laces in the toe box a bit, maybe try that.
