Anybody have any idea where I can get this top in the dusty pink w/red paint colorway? I'm guessing I need a medium since ann stuff can run large (I'm a large 48/small 50).

I called A, Barneys, Jeffrey... I'll be in London next week... maybe somewhere there?

Thanks in advance guys!

Chinoriz, I got the same long-sleeved tee in gray. I am usually a 46/48 size, but the size that fit me was an XS (it's still quite roomy, I might say). I would think that you might want to get a size S. :flower:

I'm quite sad that the Antwerp shop had no more stocks of the light gray button-up cotton/linen cardigan (the one still available at the Luisaviaroma site last time I checked). I loved the texture of that cardi.

Hows the pricing in the Antwerp shop compared to say luisaviaroma? Perhaps an extra initiative to go to Antwerp

It's cheaper, but not by much, which shocked me a little, because designers such as Dries van Noten, Margiela, Raf Simons really are cheaper there - maybe it's because they still produce a lot of stuff in Belgium, while Ann's stuff is mostly made in France, Italy, Poland these days? The kick is that being from Australia, you will get the 20% VAT back!!! It takes a while to process though.

Thanks Steam:flower:

Now that I think about it... I had the moon shirt in a size L and I was SWIMMING in it. I just didn't know if the sizing stayed consistent from season to season with her...

Now I know, and I hope that either Browns or Liberty carries it!

Very little of it, as compared to before. The footwear is produced in Italy.

Hmm.. okay.. ^_^

It is in my experience that a lot of the pieces from the current collection are produced in Belgium. Well basically all the pieces I've seen so far.. everything from the paint tees to the long wrinkle jackets

/\ That's cool. I haven't looked at tags closely in this season's mens - but I'm glad it is!

My long wrinkled jacket says "Made in Poland," one of the sweaters I have says "Made in Belgium."

:P

serious? the long wrinkle one as in the one from luisa?

then I must be amnesiac.. :ninja:

my fault then

Yep, I'm sure, I happened to be wearing the black one when I read the post earlier :P

So basically.. all the "large" pieces are made in France, Italy, Poland as faust said...

While the "smaller" pieces like sweaters, tees, shirts etc. are still made in Belgium?

Well that's just sad.. it should be the other way around ^_^

no I figured it out myself..

the pants are made in Tunisia.. the shirts are made in Poland...

but apparently the leather jacket is made in Belgium...

how weird

Thanks faust.

My longjohns type trousers and scarf from this season were both made in Belgium. Maybe she just chooses what she wants to be made in Belgium

^^ That's the telephone number of debout (the shop carrying the Ann D shoes, bags, jewelry luckyme posted)

Here's the details I found from the website (http://www.deboutshoes.com/location.html)

[/FONT]Back to the other topic though, does anyone know exactly why the items are increasingly being made in places other than Belgium? And does it make much of a difference in quality or anything else?
I may be totally wrong here but isn't Ann's business mainly based in Antwerp?
