Ann is not photogenic.
Therefore, Ann is not a real model.

She reminds me of a hybrid between Eugenia and Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill). But even after looking at her Milan photos she still doesn't read high-fashion model to me.

Kim. Good news. We'll see a lot more of Ann in the near future. A person I know at Elite says Ann is in big demand for editorial work at several major mags.
And she'll do several shows in the fall for New York's Spring 2006 Fashion Week. I think Ann may become the most successful runway-editorial model ever to come out of ANTM.

What sucessful models do you know that are NOT photogenic? That's the main qualification of the job!

In front of a camera, Ann is too hit-or-miss for me. No consistency at all...

Models don't make much money off of editorials... Ann is probably making a lot off of Runway (Richard Tyler, Cynthia Rowley, etc. don't exactly pay you beans). I, for one, think her photographs are pretty good too, so its all subjective. Anyways, being a model isn't just photos.

I remember seeing an interview with Sessilee, the new model with IMG..and she was saying for some bigger NY designers the pay is about 2500 for a new girl in their show, and going to milan the pay she said was much higher if walking for a bigger designer.

I think her body is quialified as being ok because her shape is more "amazon" , then "chunky" ....i think they allow it to pass. Its mostly muscle.

Models make the most off of campaigns-- not runway, not editorial-- though those things help them get exposure and thus campaigns. Perhaps there are a few models who make their money off of runway-- but those are not the models who are best known or make the most money.

I haven't seen any runway from Ann since Fall 2004, where she did a handful of middling shows. I'm starting to think this runway career is a big bust.

Last season (fall/winter 2005) she only did New York.. hopefully next season she'll do New York, Milan, London, then Paris...

The first picture is very lovely. I didn't even recognize Ann! Must be because I couldn't look into her fish eyes.

The second and the third one though... No. Just no! First, the second one looks like she's showing off her, um, private parts. Um, no, I don't need to see that in a fashion editorial, thanks!

And she looks so dopey... like she just went to the dentist and got slipped some bad novacaine or something. Facial expressions are not bad things, okay!
