Utter display of quantity over quality here. This rag needs an editor...
As expected, it’s the established guard that brings the impact and solid high fashion imagery; Nick's and Craig's are on such a higher level not just creatively, but technically. While these new photographers have absolutely nothing fresh to offer and blend into one another into a dull, generic nothingness of the usual directionless “raw” test shots— much like the difference between shopping at the flagships of Neiman/Bergdorf vs their depressing outlets. High fashion presentation does not work with all these Diane Arbus-wannabes. Harley remains consistently the most useless of them all. Such depressing, hopeless lazy imagery. They’re all so devoid of joy and life.
And such awful art direction, it may as well be shambled together by someone with only access to Windows 98.
