sorry to be a pain but i got another question...with the O2 Pay monthly contract in the UK, they offer unlimited Wi-Fi...what does that mean?
on the site it says 'Data usage whilst roaming not included. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available at any of the 9,500 Wi-Fi hotspots from our partners The Cloud and BT Openzone. Excessive usage policy applies.'
but im like i have no idea what that means...

Roaming means this: you can turn on roaming on the iphone (go to settings) if you are in another country and the iphone will still work on another network but you will have to pay extra for it.....it will show as an additional fee in your monthly phone bill

I have been traveling from the US to Europe lately and used roaming...it was quite convenient...you can access the internet and call people but it will cost extra cause you are outside the country

That was the only thing that made me a little angry, the unlimited allowance is not able to be counted for outside the UK

oh thats great then...unlimited internet...im only outside the UK for 3-4 times a year and then i have mobile internet on my laptop anyway so i wont need the iPhone for that...

Thats happend to me a few times and then I realized that I sometimes press mute with my face. Assuming thats not the problem, take it to apple and unless you dropped it thats something they cover under the warranty and they'll replace it. I had a problem with my volume, they tested it which took about 10 min and then just handed me a new phone. I was surprised how quick and easy it was. Make sure to back up your phone before bringing it in.

I use Fring, which is an application for instant messaging

hey, has anyone replaced their headset yet?

mine died after a year and a couple of months
and now i need a new one.
don't want to buy the same cheap headset that it comes with?

thinking of upgrading to the new one by apple that is $79.
or something else by senheiser.

the thing is i still have the first gen iphone, and not just any headset fits into that jack. so that's why i was thinking of going with the apple.

not much of an ap, but it does come in handy

it just helps you clean up some of the junk that is on the iphone.
what it does is; it basically hides the icons you don't want to use.
for example:

i have snapture to take pics,
so i don't use the camera app that comes with the iphone.

with poof i can just hide camera (because you can't erase it)
therefore there is less clutter on the screen.

I got mine a week ago and a word of advice to anyone getting one: make sure you find out the real price! the guy at at&t told us it was 299$ and my mom repeatedly asked the guy if it cost 299 even though we're still under another contract and he said yes. after all my numbers were transferred over and everything, the phone rang up 500$! my mom had a fit and the guy said because of our contract its 499$. my mom and i were very upset and felt like we had been taken advantage of.
i still love the phone though.

My boyfriend got me a 3G for Christmas, a gift card, and we went to the apple store to pick it up, and I also had to pay the $499 bc my act with AT&T was not eligable for a 2 year upgrade since I just got a new phone less than 1 year ago. So I dont think u were being taken advantage of thats the way all phones are. You have to be able to upgrade to get the discounted price, otherwise its full!
