nice collection.black and white are the master colors of autumn-winter06/07 i think

this is well executed. i'm impressed, and not for the first time...

Its lovely! I just browsed the whole collection on style.com.. easily better than 95%+ of the collections at NY fashionweek IMO.

I confess, I have never been into Aquascutum :ninja: even though I pass it all the time. Their shop front just does not reflect the essence of their collections that they have recently been coming up with. Them being underrated just makes the collection look a lot better. I love the super high waists which look surprisingly flattering.

They certainly have the makings of something really interesting.
Great shaping.

very clean. I esp like the looks you posted clavdia. that first coat is adorable.

beautiful collection.... a few pieces are remarkably boring though.... and the flowers are just tacky.....

This label really is catching up to Burberry ... there was a lot to like in this collection ... and a lot more sophistication than might be expected.

I loved this collection, especially the looks in the beginning, not so much these pants though.

And I didn't think the green dress went well with the rest of the looks. Other than that I liked pretty much everything.

edit: oh yes, have to agree about the flowers as well...

i completely agree with sarah mower's statement that the best looks were coats, completely wearabel, with a look of originality...and can we talk about the pants?!...

i haven't been disappointed and am confident that this will be (if it's not already) the "it" show of london. this also nothing less than support the impovement of london fashion week lately...:flower:

my criticisms are that there were too many looks..the way they used colour in the last section of the fashion show was also not my cup of tea...i think the best way to have gone about using colour in this collection would be to take those yellows and pinks and use them as "pops" ...

if i couod smoosh this and the fall 2005 collections together, it would be perfect..

I love it, so clean and simple but fresh. I love the menswear too! Esp that first look with that slighly askew looking jacket.
