Are you a shoe or bag girl?

Originally a bag girl, but I'm becoming a shoe girl now. Last year, buying bags was all I did, and I ignored my shoes. But now that bags have become soooo expensive and now that I've bought all the bags I could ever possibly want, my focus has turned to shoes. There are so many more design choices and price ranges when it comes to shoes!

^^^ I love the more design and price ranges for shoes, too. I've always been a shoe girl, but now I am more choosy---I choose more expensive shoes and buy much less than I used to. Maybe 1-2 pairs a year tops.

shoes , i dislike IT bags.....a good pair of shoes can make your legs look amazing and all a bag does is make you look frumpy

Love both, but definitely more of a shoe gal. Why?
- I've checked our Handbag forum maybe a total of 4 times since I've become a member, versus daily visits on the Shoes forum
- I notice people's shoes first rather than their bags
- Carrie Bradshaw is my idol

I know my love for shoes is true, because even though I can barely stand to walk in my 4 inch heels for more than an hour without complaining, I just keep buying more. The perfect heel makes your legs look so sexy.


I wish I was more of a bag girl but shoes are more affordable for me at this point in my life. Plus, I stand to inherit my mother's handbag collection someday My sister will have to fight me for the Chanel

Definitely a handbag girl... I prefer comfort in my shoes, and I usually always wear flats. While there are plenty of great flats out there, I stick to plain black ballet flats. With my handbags, I go crazy and they're usually a more important part of my outfit.

I don't think I can really choose, but ever since I got a part time job working in shoes, I think I'm leaning more towards the Louboutins, the Manolos and the Jimmy Choos...

Shoes, without a doubt. They define an outfit/wardrobe/daily experience of life for They shape one's posture and have the ability to overpower the feeling of the rest of an outfit. me. Bags are more of a hassle than anything. I like wallet purses and things like that, that just keep it out of the way.

I rarley get to wear all my nice shoes, they dress up an outfit too much and I have nowere to go dressed up. Most of my bags are casual and I can wear them day to say so I pick bags.

a shoe girl without question

i'd rather put the money for a bag towards an amazing pair of shoes. they make you feel so fabulous. i get happy just thinking about the feeling. i'm a lost cause!

i know you can reuse bags and even though i go through phases of lust for a bag (hello lanvin kansas) i can't bring myself to 'waste' the money on that rather than put it towards a great dress or some fab shoes. Bags are at the bottom of my list
