Were these ever posted?

Dell, those were posted on the last page but we were asked by the copyright holder not to post them. So unfortunately I had to delete them from your post so as to prevent any further problems for tFS.

Please be advised everyone that the pictures of Arlenis from Miss Jeffrey's Make Up Blog should not be posted in the future. :flower:

As for the latest test, they're not bad (but I generally don't care for Sinclair's tests all that much). It's just a shame that while airbrushing everything they took almost all of the intensity out of her eyes.

^Absolutely no need to be sorry. The previous post was completely deleted, and as such users cannot see where it was deleted or what it contained. Therefore, there's no way to know unless you visited the thread regularly what was already there or what disappeared. Fear not, it happens. :flower: :D

48. Arlenis Sosa

New York:
Marilyn Model Mgmt

Arlenis has had one of the most explosive editorial starts for a new faces that MDC has seen in recent times. This gorgeous Dominican with the proverbial smile that lights up the room is booking everything in her wake.

  Remember how Raquel entered the MDC Top 50 at number 50 years and years ago? I have a feeling she is the next big one!!

What's with the Sosa though?

Holy crap! That was INCREDIBLY fast.

Confused about the last name as well... I liked Peña, but maybe Sosa is easier because it has no ñ?

Models.com don't always get their Top 50 spot on IMO:unsure:but on the strength of very little print work and only on upcoming editorials I'm thrilled that they realised Arlenis' potential.B)

Well, I totally get why they made her enter at only 48. They've been triggerhappy before with girls that sounded like big promises but then had to move them down or out pretty fast because they didn't live up to the expectations. I.e. Adina Forizs, Angelika Kocheba, Johanna Stickland and Georgia Frost.

Yeah I know, I believe it's called hedging you're bets:p maybe they are being slightly more careful now after some baffling predictions in the past.
Although in the case of Arlenis I truly believe (and hope) they have got it totally right, and I'd put good money on her rising higher again pretty soon.:D

What's with the Sosa though?

That's what I would love to know. Perhaps it's time to give her an official tFS name that will last for the rest of her career. Arlenis Sosa Pena or Arlenis Pena Sosa. I'm eager to see Arlenis in print though because I've been somewhat ambivalent up until now...

She still looks amazing! I don't think they need to airbrush a thing! She is in the top 50! Holy Crap! I am amazed!

Even though I think she has potential I don't see how she can be on the models.com list with only a few runway shows and test shots. I think there are others who should be on it who have done more work, but then again models.com is really not great I mean they put Kate Moss #1 on their money list when Gisele makes the most money.

^she has done the most high profile work already - it just hasn't come out yet. she shot both us vogue with testino and italian vogue with miesel. that's a claim some of the other top 50 girls can't make.
