I like it, she looks gorgeous

.
peoplestylewatchGetting glammed up in a designer gown and heading off to Vogue‘s Met Costume Institute Gala sounds like a girl’s dream come true. But it’s not all couture and Cartier: some serious prep work goes into getting ready for such a fashion-forward event. Ashley Greene, wearing a blush tulle Donna Karan gown made just for her, was a prime example. “I had to do some strength training to wear it,” she joked to reporters on the red carpet last night, her mermaid train flowing gracefully behind her. “I saw it and was kind of like, ‘Anything is worth it to wear this dress.’” Meanwhile, pal Taylor Swift, who had to do a bit of maneuvering in order to share a hug with the Twilight star, said her dress was low maintenance — and not even itchy. “I’m comfortable,” she boasted of her fitted J. Mendel creation, adding, “It’s a little difficult with the train. But I’ve experienced worse.” While walking wasn’t a huge problem for the country star, it was getting to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art that proved to be a bit of a challenge. “The car ride over here was interesting,” she admitted. “You have to lay down on the seat and take the train and crumple it up on your lap.” Just as long as you emerge wrinkle-free!
I was also suprised she was there.
It's been a while since I liked her looks, but she looks gorgeous in the first DK dress. It reminds me of a mermaid though, but still, it suits her perfectly.
Like the second dress too. Very nice around her shoulders, it makes them appear less broad imo.

Stepping out for an early dinner with a pal, Ashley Greene was spotted in the East Village of New York City yesterday (May 3).
The super-hot “New Moon” babe grabbed an outdoor table at Gemma, where she grabbed some pizza and conversation while paparazzi looked on from afar.
On Monday night, Ashley turned heads at the 2011 Costume Designers Institute MET Gala where she wore a custom-made Donna Karan gown.
She told press, “I had to do some strength training to wear it. I saw it and was kind of like, ‘Anything is worth it to wear this dress.’”
