Oh I like this Narcisco Rodriguez dress. I was a bit worried that she'd be wearing Donna Karan for EVERY red carpet event, even though she's looked absolutely amazing in the last 2 DK looks. But this is a nice change of pace.

Brief shopbop interview

Her role as Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga has made Ashley Greene one of Hollywood’s most recognized and sought-after young talents.Breaking Dawn is in theatres now, and Greene has five major studio films slated for release in the next two years. We talked style, Twilight, and holiday traditions with the actress.

SHOPBOP: What’s your daily fashion staple?
ASHLEY GREENE: A great pair of well-fitting skinny jeans works with any outfit. My go-to is DKNY.

SB: How would you describe your style?
AG: Ever-evolving. But generally, I stick to pretty classic and comfortable pieces, and dress them up with statement jewelry.

SB: Who is your style icon?
AG: Audrey Hepburn is my ultimate style icon. I also love Gwenyth Paltrow and Kate Bosworth.

SB: The Twilight saga is coming to a close. What’s next on your acting agenda?
AG: I have a bunch of movies coming out next year, which I’m really excited about: a thriller called The Apparition, a comedy called Butter, and a coming-of-age comedy called LOL. I just signed on for an action film called Olivia Twisted and to be the new face of DKNY, so I have that to look forward to as well.

SB: What is your favorite holiday tradition?
AG: My Aunt Ida makes an amazing chocolate derby pie, which I look forward to every holiday season!

SB: How do you plan to celebrate the holidays this year?
AG: I’m going to Mexico with my family. I’m excited to relax and spend time with them!

SB: This holiday season, what’s the number one item on your wish list?
AG: Time with my family. This past year has been a fantastic whirlwind, so I’m grateful to have the opportunity to spend time with them this holiday season.

SINCE THEY 'MET'
Greene's sparkling one-of-a-kind Donna Karan ballgown for the 2011 Met Gala was the start of a series of fabulous collaborations between the star and the designer, who created several stunners Greene has worn to Twilight premieres from coast to coast. "The Met Ball is my favorite red carpet to date," Greene says. "I felt like a princess – I loved that the dress had a beautifully fitted bodice with a high-drama train."

BETTER OFF RED
The star returns to a favorite color when she's looking to stun on the red carpet. "I love to show off by wearing red," she says of picking outfits like this sexy Narciso Rodriguez slip dress. "It's bold and eye-catching."

GLAMOUR GIRL
As the face of Mark, the actress has plenty of favorites from the cosmetics line. When she wants to glam up her look, she says, "I put on Mark's gorgeous lipstain!"

BLUE ANGEL
At the Toronto Film Festival, the actress opted for a sleek, simple Jean Paul Gaultier dress. "I loved the beautiful simplicity of this dress," she says, "but the small details and vibrant color made it stand out to me."

THE EYES HAVE IT
"The part of my body I love to play up is my eyes," says the green-eyed star, who rocked a stunning smoky eye at the New York screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
