Ashley Greene

Enjoying some downtime from her usually busy schedule, Ashley Greene was spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (October 11).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Twilight” babe stopped off for some frozen yogurt before heading over to a nearby Bed Bath and Beyond store to pick up a few items.

Gossip Girls

hahaha, seriously, she's teasing us!!!
but it doesn't look very different, maybe just a dark dark brown with a red shade?!

Hey everyone! We at Twilight-Review.com were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to interview Ashley Greene who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight Saga movies. She was nice enough to take a break from her busy Eclipse filming schedule to answer a few of the fan questions we received. Check out a transcript of the interview below:
ashley-greene-saks.jpg
TSR.com: What was it like growing up in Jacksonville?
AG: Growing up in Jax… it was awesome. Jacksonville’s a great city and I was blessed with an amazing family. My mom, my dad and Joe are everything to me. My friends from there, I still talk with mostly of them, they’re great too. That’s why I always say that if someday I get married and have kids, I want to go back to Florida.
TSR.com: When and how did you know that you wanted to be an actor?
AG: I always was part of the drama club in school, but I decided that I wanted to be an actress, like 100% sure, when I came to LA. I’m tiny, so I can’t be a model like… don’t know, Bar Refaeli, and acting is amazing, I love everything about being an actress.
TSR.com: What was your very first acting job and how did it go?
AG: My first first job. Punk’d. It was so freaking awesome because the cast and crew were so funny and kind. Plus, I met Ashton Kutcher and that’s pretty cool.
TSR.com: The various mediums of acting can have very different requirements and advantages, what medium do you prefer to work in film or TV and why?
AG: I like both. There’s good and bad stuff in both. For example, films are cool, you can see all the producer’s work and you can go to awesome places like BC for the Twilight Saga, for example, but you have to be apart of your family, friends and people you love for months. But that also means I have fun traveling around the world and I have great great great 3-months-vacays. Now, TV… is cool. Crew and cast are so awesome, is like work with your 2nd family because you know EVERYONE. But it takes more time to film and is like high school schedule and blah blah blah. So… I guess both are cool, but I’m more into movies than get a job in some TV series.
TSR.com: What was your first impression of Twilight when you auditioned?
AG: I never thought is would be something as big, as huge at it is. Twilight is like WOW. I thought it was going to be great and everything, I thought it was going to be something like Scary Movie-famous, but I never thought it was going to be this big, like… don’t know… Harry Potter-famous. Transformers… don’t know. I don’t know if you get my idea, but is awesome being part of something like Twilight and the Saga.
TSR.com: What’s your favorite book in the series?
AG: I’m between New Moon and Eclipse. But I love them all.
TSR.com: Are you Team Edward or team Jacob?
AG: Ughhhh… harsh. I really really adore Rob and Edward’s awesome, but I’m Team Jacob. Is just… You gotta love Taylor, he plays an amazing Jacob, so… my heart belongs to him. Hahaha!
New_Moon___Alice_Cullen_by_SanakoNara.jpg
TSR.com: Once you had the role of Alice Cullen, how did you prepare for the role?
AG: I read the book, read my script and talked to Stephenie. She helped me to create the current Alice.
TSR.com: In New Moon Alice plays a larger than in Twilight and a new style. Are you happy with how Alice is evolving in the saga?
AG: Of course! That’s why I like NM and Eclipse more than Twilight and BD! Hahahaha! Kidding. Is awesome, but that also means I have more lines to learn! But I love it, I love my job so, everything’s great.
TSR.com: Are there any traits or similarities between yourself and Alice?
AG: We’re both tiny. Hahaha! Well, Alice’s one happy kid, and I’m a happy person too. I’m like smiling all the time and I really don’t like to see people sad so, I make them laugh and everything. I’m really into fashion, but Alice kick my butt x10 times. She’s a fashionista and I love it. I love her fashion sense and, I want her closet!
TSR.com: Do you think you can relate to Alice? What do you admire most about Alice? Where are you most different?
AG: We really look alike. She’s a loyal girl and she loves her family and friends and I’m like that. I would do everything for them. Now… different… hmmm. She has a boyfriend, I don’t. Hahahaha!
TSR.com: We know that a lot of acting on a TV or movie is waiting. Do you have one particular activity you like to do while waiting?
AG: Call my mom. Or any of my friends. Or talk to my friends thru AIM. Actually, I talk. To everyone. Oh! And annoy Rob. That’s my favorite thing to do.

Downtime in Vancouver
"We'd shop. We were right on Robson [Street in Vancouver], it's kind of a shopping strip, and there's a ton of stores that just line it. I got really cool jumpers. And I went to H&M, of course, because I love that store!"

Best Scene to Film
"Italy was really fun. The Porsche in particular — Kristen and I were just talking about how we were laughing and singing in the car. I'm sure everyone who was making the film was like, 'What's the deal?' We were quoting Anchorman and singing 'Afternoon Delight.' Yeah, very weird!"

She Almost Crashed the Porsche!
"I had to learn how to drive it with a truck driver, which was really fun. And he said I was a really great driver. But then I had to race this Porsche up all these really narrow roads and avoid pedestrians. So I was a little preoccupied, but I did it twice, and it looked really good! I guess I was really close to the wall though. Driving on set makes you nervous, like when a cop is behind you; you're not doing anything wrong, but because the cop is behind you, you get nervous."

Her Guy Friend's Funny Habits
"Kellan was like, 'I guess I don't have to wear my shirt when I'm walking my dog.' And I'm like, 'Kellan, most people wear shirts when they walk their dog.' What's really sad is that his shirt is off so much that I know what his abs look like. And I saw this Photoshopped picture of him, and I was like, 'That's not you! You're wider than that! It's not like I stalk you, you just never have your shirt on!'"

YouTubing Between Takes
"Michael Sheen and I, for some reason, we bonded over this [funny] YouTube stuff, and so we would be cracking up, and then the scene would start and I was supposed to hate him, so it made it a little more difficult."

First Impressions
"When I met Rob, he literally didn't make any impression on me. He's quiet, he's not very outgoing, he wasn't like, 'Hey! What's up? I'm Rob!' So with Catherine, she was basically like, 'So, that's Rob.' And I was like, 'Oh, cool.' And it's just so funny now looking at it, because every girl swoons over him."

Having Alice's Power in Real Life
"I think it'd be a little bit of a burden. I'd feel so much pressure if anything [bad] would happen, and I don't think I would have time to just live, because everything can change, once you know the future and if you try and change it — nothing would play out the way it was supposed to. I think it's better that life is kind of like a mystery, I think that's what drives us. So it would be cool for a minute, and then it would drive me crazy probably, like reading people's minds. That would drive me nuts! You really don't want to hear what people are thinking. I'm okay with just smiling and saying hello!"

Her Favorite Book
"I love the first one (Twilight); it's the one that got me hooked, and I couldn't put it down, and that's the one I remember the most. The second (New Moon) and third (Eclipse) are cool because my character kind of gets to grow a little bit, but the first one was really cool because I read it and it left all this up to the imagination so I got to create my own little world, so that was really fun."

Picking a Team
"Even though I adore Taylor Lautner (Jacob), I'm the type of girl who wants what she can't have. And Edward is mysterious and almost unreachable and supernatural. And he's this tortured soul who actually really loves this Bella character, but he can't be with her, but he doesn't care, and he's willing to give up everything. And vampires are just cool. So yeah, I would go with him."

Breaking Dawn
"If the fourth one gets made — I'm just really intrigued, as I think everyone else is because there's just so much involved in it — I just don't even know how they're gonna go about. That's why that's their job!"

Forks High
"It's like we're in high school, with four movies, that's four years. As freshmen we were all really awkward and weird, and then as sophomores we were developing, and by junior year we're just like, 'Oh, we got this.'"

Avoiding the Paparazzi on Eclipse
"[Summit] will probably have to put half their budget into security! I don't know, we'll see."

Her HS Body
"When I was growing up, I cheered and danced and ran and stuff like that. I'm probably thinner now than I was in high school. I had a lot of muscle — a LOT of muscle in high school. When I was a kid I did marshal arts, and then I did all-star crazy competitive cheer and dance, and then I swam so I was very muscular. You know, healthy, but not quite as thin as I am."

Edi's Prank on Jackson
"Edi [Gathegi, who plays Laurent] has this crazy woman voice that he can do. It's insane; he sounds just like a woman! And so he called Jackson and told Jackson, 'Hi, this is Kelly from production.' Jackson was like, 'Oh hey, what's up?' There were issues with everybody's hair color and the cut and so they had just dyed it blonde. And so he was like, 'We're going to have to bring you into hair and makeup at 4:45am because we're going to have to dye your hair back black.' And Jackson was like, 'Oh. Okay!' Then Edi called him and was like, 'Hey man, did you just get a call from this girl from production…what time do you have to go in?' And Jackson was like, '4:45' and he was like 'oh.' And he was like, 'Did you talk to her?' And he was like 'Yeah,' and then in his girl voice was like, 'I am her!' Jackson totally would've gotten up at 4:45 in the morning!"

Before Twilight
"I always had a new job. I just get so bored. I worked at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen), I worked at this boutique called Trist, I worked at Lucky Strike, I worked at the Roosevelt [Hotel], I worked at the Belmont [Hotel]."

Bonding with Kellan
"We do a lot of game nights. Taboo and Apples to Apples are our favorites. We just kind of chill out. We're very comfortable, so it's nice, especially in this craziness. Just hiking, working out, stuff like that."

Showing off her University of Florida pride, Ashley Greene steps out in bright orange pants to pick up a cool drink from Starbucks on Monday morning (October 12) in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old actress stopped by MTV recently to chat about her past fashion wrongs and fashion rights. She shared, “I feel like Jimmy Choo can do no wrong. Even though they were really uncomfortable, they were totally worth it.”
The best thing about Ashley’s past outfits in her closet? Most of her outfits go to DonateMyDress.org, a charity which redistributes them for girls who can’t afford dresses for prom and other events.

Men's Fitness

There’s an innocence to Ashley Greene that makes her sexuality even more potent. It’s an essential weapon for the 22-year-old, especially on the big screen where she’s reprising the role of Alice Cullen, a bloodthirsty vampire, in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (out November 20, 2009).
Greene charms as a charismatic, ***-kicking vamp that won’t kill humans. But don’t let that coy smile fool you…she’s definitely a man-eater. “I pass a million hot guys on the street, but most of them aren’t sexy,” she reveals. “Being sexy is about intrigue and mystery, not putting everything out on the table. That’s the kind of guy I want to be around,” she says with a laugh. “I just want to jump his bones!”

Wanna Date Ashley? She’s Got Some Rules:

Maintain Your Independence
“I’m independent. If a guy is too clingy or needy, I actually get afraid of hurting him—and I can’t deal with that.”

Give and You’ll Receive
“I need a guy that understands give-and-take. I can’t be the only one giving.”

Be Confident
“It’s attitude that gives a guy an edge. When you walk around thinking ‘everyone wants to f— me,’ that’s what comes across. Those guys just scream sex!”

Silence the Beast
“I hate jealous guys! Everyone can be jealous. We all have that in us. Push the demon down or it’s going to drive the other person away.”

Be Authentic
“Don’t throw petals on the floor if they have no meaning. I would rather have a fun, casual relationship than have someone pretending they’re completely in love with me.”

Are those booties from Men´s Fitness shoot the same ones she wore with the pink mini dress?

I like the first two outfits from Twilight´s rehearsals, the blouse and the trench. Now, wouldn´t that black trench be a much better choice than the coat Alice wore in Italy...?:rolleyes:
