Ashley Greene

Have you heard her in interviews - she has no problem hooking up. She described a hook-up on Chelsea Lately and she wasn't shy about it.

She's a very pretty girl, her outfits seem to be a bit hit or miss, her red carpet style strikes me as better then her candid style. I've never seen any of the Twilight films (gasp), not sure they're exactly aimed at me anyway, but from what I've seen of her the rest of the time I get a bit of an attention seeker vibe from her.

Hmmm I wonder if she is dating Jared? They may just be friends. He seems to be hanging out with girls left, right and centre. They look good together though :)

I love her hair at the moment!

her rep apparently already made a "just friends" statement. but yeah, considering there were pics of her kissing brock kelly weeks before she started dating Joe Jonas, I don't get a wallflower vibe from her at all

I actually like the last outfit with her parents. Nothing is clashing, so points for that! Love the DVF top!

i love her latest look. it's casual and cute. she must be out buying stuff for her place in nyc, it's cute her parents are with her.

I really like her blazer and top combo. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed one of her outfits.

Enjoying her newfound singlehood, Ashley Greene was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills last night (March 22).

The “New Moon” actress grabbed some dinner with friends before hitting up Trousdale nightclub where she was spotted holding hands with a mystery man.

And with prom season coming up, Ashley is doing her darndest to make sure ladies from low-income families have something fabulous to wear to the big dance.

Speaking of her work with DonateMyDress.org, she explained, “In high school, I had to work several jobs to save enough to buy a prom dress. It was so worth it: I had a blast at prom! Every girl should have the chance to have that experience.”

Ashley Greene Questioned About Joe Jonas, Charlie Sheen

Ashley Greene, 24, is beginning to see a future beyond Alice Cullen. Yes, the second-to-last Twilight installment will be released this fall, but she’s also starring in a new comedy, Butter, in theaters later this year—and she’s got quite a thing going on with her non-vampire boyfriend, Joe Jonas. She talks with writer Josh Patner about what’s next. [Editor’s note: Five days after this issue went to press, Greene and Jonas announced their split. Greene has declined to comment to Glamour about the breakup.]

Look for her next in
Butter
The Apparition
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1

GLAMOUR: You have a truckload of experience with the Twilight films, but you are also just getting started. It’s kind of funny, right?

ASHLEY GREENE: I still am extremely green in some ways. And so each time I work on a character, it is very exciting, very scary.

GLAMOUR: What about your new movie, Butter? Are you funny in it? I mean, it’s about people who carve butter competitively!

ASHLEY GREENE: I am unintentionally funny in it. Yeah—butter carving in Iowa. It’s a thing there. They make masterpieces.

GLAMOUR: How do you define the rest of your career after being part of this huge Twilight phenomenon so early on?

ASHLEY GREENE: It is difficult because people look at you as that character. I want to play a role of a 24-year-old woman, not 17-year-old girls. So I have picked a couple of films like Butter to show that. And it’s perfectly fine not to do anything for a year if I don’t find the right thing.

GLAMOUR: To have a career like yours, you have to be professional. You have to be in control.

ASHLEY GREENE: You have to try. I am certainly not perfect. I don’t think you should try to be perfect for anyone. When you come to terms with that, then you’re OK.

GLAMOUR: So what about messy Hollywood, like the partying and drugs?

ASHLEY GREENE: I keep to the ground rules. I’m not going to get drunk at a bar. There are younger girls who look up to me. So I do my best not to stray too far.

GLAMOUR: Let’s just talk about life offscreen. Tell me about your charity work.

ASHLEY GREENE: I work with a charity called Donate My Dress. It’s got chapters all over the country where you can donate special-occasion dresses. Prom is a big deal when you’re 15 years old, and it enables girls who don’t have the money to come in and choose something special.

GLAMOUR: That’s lovely. Your parents must be so proud.

ASHLEY GREENE: The only thing they ever wanted was for me to do what I wanted to. They are very proud because it’s a hard thing to not let Hollywood change you.

GLAMOUR: Have you always been a hard worker?

ASHLEY GREENE: Oh, man, I have had so many jobs. I always wanted to work, earn my own money. When I was 14, I convinced a dry-cleaning company to hire me. I was working to buy the things that I wanted.

GLAMOUR: Where did the acting come from?

ASHLEY GREENE: I started in modeling. [At first] I wanted to be a lawyer. I realized I don’t really want to be a lawyer. I want to play a lawyer. Thank God I figured that out.

GLAMOUR: How many girls from Florida or anywhere go to a modeling convention in New York and become a movie star?

ASHLEY GREENE: I’m a big believer in “everything happens for a reason.” I’m not saying it wasn’t hard. I lived off Lean Cuisine and had no furniture and shared a bedroom with a girl for a year. I ran up my credit card. But every time I thought, I’m going to fail, something happened that kept me here.

GLAMOUR: Let’s talk about love and relationships. Like where is your super-foxy boyfriend right now?

ASHLEY GREENE: Superstud.

GLAMOUR: Superstud! Was it love at first sight?

ASHLEY GREENE: A friendship developed first, and that’s the most important thing for me. If you are going to be with someone all the time, they need to be your best friend.

GLAMOUR: What are your boundaries in a relationship?

ASHLEY GREENE: You need to be able to talk about the difficult things. I don’t want us to talk about our ex-boyfriends or ex- girlfriends. The past is the past. As long as it’s not a mass-murderer past! You’re with the person who you’re with as they are now.

GLAMOUR: When I typed A-S-H into Google—just A-S-H—your name was the first to come up. Seriously! What about that?

ASHLEY GREENE: Really?! That’s exciting!

GLAMOUR: Ashley Greene, small-town girl with a big-town dream…

ASHLEY GREENE: I think that I have got a lot more to do. But I am comfortable in this spot. There are always bigger dreams.

Ashley Greene On The Cover Of Glamour’s May 2011 Issue
Are we LOVING the way Ashley Greene looks on the cover of the May 2011 issue of Glamour, Gibson girls?

So, we shot this one in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where Ashley’s currently filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. We wound up doing three different looks for the cover, in addition to three looks for the inside spread.

The cover was all about flirty short, skimpy clothes, half-tops. Definitely a pin-uppy in feel. For Ashley, I did a deep side part, blew her hair dry with Build It Blow Dry Spray, using a medium round brush and then curled with medium sized marcel curling iron. Then, I set it with a spray down of Beautiful Hold Hairspray. I didn’t brush it out because I wanted a more deliberate feel, but I obviously used a wind machine, my favorite hair accessory.
For the inside spread, I pulled Ashley Green’s hair back into a ponytail and had pieces in front to make it more rock and roll. To secure the pony, I used a bungee elastic. I didn’t bother with additional products, but I did add a bit more Beautiful Hold Hairspray.

I didn’t get a chance to see the set of Breaking Dawn, but it’s always a pleasure working with It Girl Ashley Greene. I love working with starlets who are beautiful, confident, sexy and know what it is they want. Ashley had her two dogs on set, and I totally had a blast playing with them. I even made sure to eat some brisket while I was there. I have a soft spot for southern food, friends.
