At just 21, Ashley Smith has been hailed as the second coming of Lara Stone. She’s landed numerous magazine covers and popped up in ad after ad; Smith was just named the new perfectly pouty face of Diesel’s fragrance, Loverdose, and this week, we’ve spotted her front row at Helmut Lang and getting her party on at LOVECAT’s rock n’ roll bash. Luckily, we managed to sneak in a chit-chat with the model-on-everyone’s-radar.

What did you eat for breakfast? Well, since I didn’t eat breakfast and went straight to a show, I ate a bag of barbecue pop chips at the show.

Biggest model misconception: That we have glamorous lives. It’s true, it can get that way when you find yourself on a boat in the south of France but we have quite hectic lives.

Urban Outfitters: The March Catalog.

The March catalog was photographed by Cass Bird in Oahu, Hawaii, with stops at Waikiki, in downtown Honolulu, and at Kualoa Ranch. With models Ashley Smith, Julia Nobis and Yuri Pleskin in tow, the shoot included a helicopter ride over the cliffs, surfing, and a visit with the sharks of Coconut Island.
