Roman Holiday was the first audrey film I ever saw. Loved it. It was that powerful that it made me go out and buy as many Audrey films I could find :)

War and Peace is the first movie of her which i first watched :D, love her innocent look in it ^_^

i love that picture too  it was a publicity photo from 1950 so she was 21

and I have never seen War and Peace, was it good?

she was 21 but looked so young, i though she was just around teenage time :D
About War and Peace, hi..hi..it's a kind of long movie, is about 4 hours i remember, i not yet read the novel so that i can't compare if she represented the character as exact as in novel, but i think she completed her role as Natasha well, innocent and childish :D and Mel looks quite handsome in it too :D (i've never thought Mel is handsome ^_^), and i think Henry Fonda is too handsome for that role as Pierre, i've heard that Pierre is big and fat and short...Anita Ekberg was in it also, as Pierre's wife, totally the cast team is excellent and the movie is quite good, i think u will like it, Audrey looks really lovely in it :flower:

she does look younger than 21 in that picture

and thanks for the review of the movie and the movie still. i have never read the book either (although i have owned it for years ^_^). i will definitely put the movie on my list of Audrey movies to watch, it sounds interesting

amazing pics!! she looks so sweet and so flawless. she makes me so happy
her back looks so bony in the mirror pic-she was so tiny.

I really think that Audrey's personality matched her outside looks^^ I've read that she was very sweet and lovingly when she was on set, not a bitchy diva at all

I am doing a paper on Colon Cancer, and i just found out that Audrey suffered from it. I'm assuming this was the cancer that caused her death. I also know that Audrey had suffered from anorexia during her life. While researching my paper I found out that those who suffer from anorexia, may go on to later suffer from Colon Cancer. Anorexia can also be a symptom of Colon Cancer. I guess what I'm trying to say is that in Audrey's case I think that the two may be related. I always wonder why such a young and beautiful woman would suffer from such a awful disease such as anorexia. Perhaps in her case it was just a case of homeostatic imbalance, aka just being sick.

sorry for getting all scientific on you guys

she wasn't anorexic, I read in her son's biography that because she was malnourished as a kid because of the war, she couldn't stuff her face with a lot of food later in her life..that doesn't mean she didn't eat properly, just not too much.In the book her son says that she had a tomato spaghetti everyday along with salad..and she enjoyed every food but with moderation..
her colon cancer had to do with an infection she caught in one of her trips to africa with unicef. It was left untreated so it evolved to cancer..it was too late when they found out..:(
