OMG, i've never seen this picture... thank you for uploading lady stardust!!

For me the ONLY actress now that comes close to resembling her or possessing the same grace is Penelope Cruz. I know most say Natalie Portman, but she has never had the same elegance for me.

I am sorry, but the comparation is really bad. Penelope Cruz has get the success having sex with important man - something that in Spain all know - that something that Audrey would never do.

The manners, funny face and elegance is impossible to see in Penelope. I agree that is beutiful and she has improve her acting talent but... she isn´t more that a hispanian actress, that´s all.

However It´s only my opinion, I totally respect your opinions.

i dont see the resemblance, but penelope is a beauty too.

^me neither. Audrey was one of a kind and there's no one else like her and there will never be:heart:

I was only comparing looks, and I don't see what Penelope "being a hispanic actress" has to do with anything.

I respect your opinion too.

I think Penelope looks like Audrey only in that movie (which I believe was the intention), otherwise, I dont see a resemblance...
Also, thanks honeyisle por that pic of Audrey, true beauty.

Hey- there's what appears to be a wonderful new book (by Sam Wasson) called "Fifth Avenue- 5:AM" which is all about Audrey and the filming of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" :woot: I'm gonna order it!!

^ Amazon has it- not a lot of money, either! This has become one of my rare 'must reads'!!

“Sam Wasson’s exquisite portrait of Audrey Hepburn peels backs her sweet facade to reveal a much more complicated and interesting woman. He also captures a fascinating turning point in American history— when women started to loosen their pearls, and their inhibitions. I devoured this book.” (Karen Abbott, author of Sin in the Second City )

“Audrey Hepburn dances through the pages of Sammy Wasson’s portrait of a movie and a little black dress that were game changers at the dawn of the sixties. Both juicy and informative, Fifth Avenue, 5 AM provides the inside story while giving Hepburn her due as a true modern original.”
