I just rewatched “Leave Her to Heaven,” and Gene is probably the most magnificent creature I’ve ever seen on screen.

She is absolutely stunning and the movie is so beyond chic. That iconic moment with her in the boat on the lake...that gorgeous coat, those sunglasses, that chilling stare....it’s unreal.

For me it's the interrogation scene in Laura. The spotlight, that glance of hers....Otto Preminger was really a master. I actually have that still as my phone one of my mobile screensavers.

Gene's beauty was unreal. Just like Hedy Lamarr and (unpolular opinion) Joan Fontaine! It's not so much physical beauty for me, but the way they move in clothes.
