I got feel the break some months ago, I gave it a listen but couldn't really tolerate the voice, I'm so over those dramatised voices and nature references, whatever they are!.. they did gain one new fan with that play though: my sister!, she asked what it was.. and kept it.

It's not bad though, Canadian bands rarely are, and I'm glad to see new threads on new music, we need more of these to discuss.

I like Austra!

I got the album a few weeks ago. It's cool, but I can understand that if you don't like the vocals then this won't be for you. Some of it reminds me of The Knife which isn't a bad thing.

I went to see Arcade Fire at the MEN Arena last week and they were banging out The Beat and The Pulse over the PA before the show. Sounded awesome!
