Austrian Designers

I'm not sure Maarit, but I'll start by listing some more Austrian fashion designers.

I'll start with Dragana Rikanovic and her collection "... all the clouds are made of glass ..."

Oh yes...thank you for mentioning Carolin...I forgot! Yeah she's the former assistant to Bernhard Willhelm. She attended Antwerp Academy...graduated the '99 class. I think she still bases herself primarily in Antwerp though.

Only reason I never posted anything for Eva Blut is because we've got an entire thread dedicated to her.

More Claudia Rosa Lukas

Park in Vienna carries Claudia's work. That's it as far as I know. I know she just mailed me after a return from Tokyo(all the Austrians were there) so maybe Japan will pick her work up.

And yes, those pics are on her web site.

great posts astrid, thanks for sharing, love all the designers you've brought in ;)

I'm glad you're enjoying my posts!

I made a thread about Ute Ploier a while ago. You can view it here.

this is the perfect database to good Austrian design,
seems plenty of promising talent there..

Are you Austrian _Astrid?
I've heard that an Austrian Fashion Week is in the making,
do you have any details?
could be good to see ;)

That's it from the top of my head.
What can I say? Some are better, some are worse, but they're all very different.
My personal favourites are Carolin Lerch, Claudia Rosa Lukas, Wendy & Jim, and Dragana Rikanovic ...
my absolut favourite though, Austrian or international, is Helmut Lang.

Anna Karina, where are you at? I'm currently living in London but I will be spending the summer in Austria.
