OK THIS IS GETTING OFFTOPIC SINCE WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DISCUSSING FASHION AND AYUMI'S STYLE but since people decided to bring up these whole surgery/i don't like her issues, i will post some childhood photos of her as proof that she didn't get surgery.
its believed by many that she did, however, because she appears so 'doll-like', but that's just the way she born.

ayumi is pretty, but please dont deny that she got surgery done..
i know tons of stars who get plastic surgeries, but her change is a bit TOO drastic for me...

she is a good singler though, but i dont find anything interesting in her style... its pretty much what every other asian pop stars wear...

i like amuro better...

When I first saw your avatar as a newcomer to the forum two months ago, I was quite sure it featured Ayumi Hamasaki. Her nails are just so recognizable!

A lot of Japanese girls have similar doll-like features. She's not so special looking to convince me that she's had work done, unless you show me some before and after pictures...but remember...a team or make-up artists can do INCREDIBLE things.

i do think she's had plastic surgery, those childhood pictures could even be dubious, my friends have relatives in asia that get their eyelids done as young as 12 or 13 years old and it's not considered a big shock. Her style is very cute but nothing very original and innant that screams 'i'm my own person', she just seems to me like someone who got rich and now has to money to get access to better stylists and clothes.

lol its so obvious she's had then cut... her eyes are HUGE now, and although ppls noses do sometimes get slimmer as they get older, her nose is markedly slimmer...

They do that to make their eyes appear bigger and brighter. Many Asians are born with single eyelids, and many go for surgery to get double eyelids that are taken for granted by so many Caucasians.

I really never have learned to like her... her voice is one thing that bothers me, and secondly I really can't grasp her style. Just seems like she wears the expensive clothing, and whatever her stylist tells her to wear.
