It's a good concept... but the prices aren't worth it. To get the handbags that I would want to borrow, I would have to pay $100.00 a month. I might as well just save that $100.00 a month and after a while, purchase the bag myself.

I saw a post here a few months ago about a web site that rented out designer bags. Does anyone here know the url to the website? I checked on old posts many times and didn't find the url.

And does anyone have pictures of ballet bags? I think they were Dior.

Handbag rental?

Handbag luvvies,
do you know about this website called be-a-fashionista.co.uk, essentially a members club where paying a monthly fee allows you to borrow any handbag from their large collection?
They have 3 levels of membership, costing roughly 30 british pounds or 50 or 100, and each category of membership gives you access to more expensive, trendier bags. Super exclusive bags such as a Birkin require a supplement - as high as 250 pounds.

They claim members get to have the latest handbags without spending a fortune on handbags they tire of within weeks.

What do you think, would you subscribe to such a service?
Good idea or waste of money?

I would never do it, if you don't got the money for a Birkin you shoulden't pretend you do.
