Yes I understand that but I used to work for a luxury fashion brand and we only provided a paper line drawing look book for our wholesale accounts. I wondered whether there was something that Balenciaga did that was more like a brochure with photos and inspiration notes/press releases. Thanks for the info though.

They're a fashion brand, they have lookbooks and a showroom etc. + you can see the show. How the hell are you supposed to order anyway without that info? You need pricing, materials, etc.

What did they have as far as men's shoes?

I can't imagine why they would hold a show and not even give a hint as to it having occurred. I'm tempted to call and find out..

they have shoes yeah ...
i've tried two pairs ... a pair of mocassins and boots ...
my foot was too "big" unfortunately for them ...

regarding the menswear .... i had my eyes on a jacket and a pullover ... awesome. the jacket was genius !!!! but expensive ....

the pullover was genius ... but too much french CRS (they are the policemen for strikes, protecting the president etc.) ...
and then i remembered ghesquiere dressed the policemen in France .... (well Balenciaga do their uniform .... so not sure it's Ghesquiere himself)

so they are making that amazing moto leather jacket this fall, browns has a kaki one up, does anyone know if there will be a grey or black one aswell? im dying to get my hands on one of them!

actually i just checked with baleciaga, they have them in navy,khaki, and black, the diff is the zips are black instead of silver, here's a pic..
i was hoping for grey..but black will do ..
anyone has one? just so i know if i should get a 36 or 38?

The black zips are bloody stunning!!! Uniq, I tried one on, and as a very slight male the 38 was good (although not tight one me). I don't know if that helps you very much, but my guess is they are rather true to size.

im torn between these and Rick Owens....ever since this bal jacket came out a few years ago ive been lusting over it....even though the style is typical moto jacket...whenever i see someone wearing it i fall inlove....hhmmmmm

UniQ, it's such a tough choice, both types of jackets are spectacular. Why not wait for the Bal jacket in grey (because it sounds like that's what you really want) and go for the RO?

uniq, i think you should definitely go with the balenciaga one. i just feel like it's so much more versatile and it looks so much more...expensive (i also like the 'biker' look). i also like the fit of these more--i'm just not too fond of the really tight look of the rick owens jackets (don't get me wrong, i adore rick owens, but i like the balenciaga jacket a tad more).

i also think the leather on this one is better.. but choose whichever you like more!

I just picked this up. I was debating between a RO or this one, but when I tried this one on, I knew I had to get it. It fits like a glove and I love the new zippers!

foxie pooh, i was in the same dilemma, I ordered the balenciaga one, It will be shipped to me, i cant wait..i ordered a 36, thats my usual size...i already have two black RO...and I agree with Doug about the biker look!
