First, I do admit it's a very pretty collection and as Phuel mentioned, he seems to have broken away from the NY crowd and is evidently a true threat to more established international players. However, it seems very one-dimensional in relation to his previous collections for the house. I'm referring to those dropped shoulders that Prada pretty much re-introduced to the industry a few seasons ago and simply won't go away. I hope he doesn't become a one trick pony. There's a difference between adhering to the house's design philosophy vs sending out what are essentially the same looks season after season.

Wang is a one trick pony IMO. His second outing for Balenciaga was a total bore and very redundant. This is better but nothing great. If he was hired to make Balenciaga more commercial, I don't see it, lot of the clothes are unflattering and look like art museum pieces.
