I saw the metallic ones in a store the other day, didn't really like them.
Guess it's the color as I do like the ones on Natasha and Julia (although I'd never wear them myself ).

FYI, bob ellis has a pair in black raffia that are much more reasonably priced than the metallic ones and a little more subtle. I think they are the same style as the tan ones above.

according to shopvogue.com:

the black/white and metallic/black are $1290
i also heard the tan ones are $895...

senna...did you see the metallic heels? are they as high as the runway version?

I was in Selfridges today and I saw the white and beige ones. I dont think the heels were as high as the runway versions though.

Urgh First the lanvins doesn't have that platform, and how these. Hopfully they're higher than 3" at least.

Yes I saw the metallic heels, and I don't remember them being as high as the runway ones..

i've read that the full heels stood $875. that price is what's holding me at moral quandry between getting a white suit for summer, DiorShow setup for photoshoots, or those shoes and skipping meals for about a month.

^ were they the thick heel from the catwalk or the stiletto version? and how about the height? i don't think the 6" catwalk ones will be sold. a friend of mine has a pair, and they are a bit difficult (but not impossible!) to walk in. i met with her the other day and she had them on-- she had to hold onto me all day

The ones I saw were the ones in the above pic. Thick heel but I would not say they are 6 inches.
