I would pay whatever they want for those Balenciaga booties. I think the price of the Sam Edelman ones are kind of extreme and not worth it, but the real deal.

Question about their sizing when it comes to shoes, do they run true to size ?

I'd say they do. I always fit perfectly into their 39s and that's my normal size

length wise I'd say they run true to size but they are very narrow so normally I have to size up for the shoes to be wide enough.

it depends on how wide your feet are. I'd say if they're narrow take 7.5, normal take 8 and if they're wide take an 8.5.

actually different lasts for different seasons. softgrey just bought a pair in her true size, but i have some from 3 and 4 seasons ago that i went a full size up one. so my advice is if they look narrow they are if they have a rounder toe true to size.

i usually go up in bal boots. my bal biker boots are my normal american size, but i went up a full size in my bal pointy double boot high ones from last year.

I can't get over how beautiful Balenciaga shoes are, espcially the ones in the past few seasons. They don't even look like shoes. They're more of an art form to me. It's amazing. If I were a girl, I'd be all over them. Like these...

Did anybody see the toned-down version of the runway shoes/boots in any stores? the black ones (in my size) are almost sold out at Bergdorf and Barneys. I think that they are a little plain for what I am looking for anyway, but I'd love to find out what else they have to offer.

When i went to balenciaga boutique to get those shoes, they only had them in that style, it was july, idk if before they had different colors etc

by now only the new collection is available i guess

btw they are 16 cm high ;P
and they have a thing inside the fabric shoe that wraps around your feet

sometimes they are very painful to walk in if you dont wear them properly
