they told me that they have not arrived. The pic you've posted looks like a style from the spring collection. Yes, those heels are super high. I saw tons of similar styles in the barneys warehouse sale and for obvious reasons, nobody bought them.

btw they are 16 cm high ;P
and they have a thing inside the fabric shoe that wraps around your feet

sometimes they are very painful to walk in if you dont wear them properly

for the runway style shoes, should I get the ones without the suede sash or with the sash? I feel that the ones without are more versatile. I can wear them for many more occasions, but the one with the sash are just lovely. any opinions?

If I can ever get my hands on them (terrorizing my show for weeks now), I'll get them with the sash. It's just such a darling turn on the futuristic shape and set them apart from similiar types. I wanna have the dove grey ones with the pink sash so bad!

I have not seen them yet. I don't think that either Barneys or Bergdorf bought them so your best bet will be the boutiques.

one more concern - the sash is in suede. So over time they won't look as pretty

^oh really? That sucks, suede gets unpretty really fast...
My shop SA says they are going to get the sash ones as they have them in their FW lookbook - not sure though whether he is an reliable source, I had to show him how to write Balenciaga...
I will drop by the Boutique when I'm in NY, that's the closest I'll ever get presumably. I guess I will decide there if I get them - I'm curious if they are so pretty in person or if I can even walk in them.

edit: found them on ebay. I would never pay 1000 for shoes that out of season. I love Balenciaga, but the knockoffs look just like them ..and are only 300 bucks (which..is way overpriced)

The Sam Edelman's come pretty close but I can't embrace them fully... they are still too off in my eyes
