(((I own a pair of the black leather Lavins and the Patent mary jane Lavin flats and neither one has hard soles, in fact I never had to "break them in" I wore them straight from the box to a party and my feet loved themI first saw Lanvin flats IRL last week and I have to say I was very unimpressed. They looked great from a distance but they felt terrible. The sole was too hard and they sooo didn't feel worth 500$.. I'd rather buy three Repetto's!



I don't remember the label, it wasn't Lanvin, but some years ago I had a pale gold kidskin pair with the toe-shoe box like that--I loved them and wore them to death. It would also prevent the problem with Lanvin ballets where sometimes you can really see your toes through them
I don't like that 
You can definitely do it after you've worn them already, I get impatient and wear my new shoes before I get them zipsoled all the time, lol.
