Ballet flats

redsole - i wear anywhere from a size 8 to 9.5. lanvins i have in 39, 38.5 and 38 and they all fit! weird right?
saks.com did have black in size 38.5, but i wanted to wait for the brown to try them on, plus i think i am set with black flats........but they are so cute!!!
i will check out the tory burch website, thanks! too bad on the return policy though :(

^^^Well, I just wanted to tell you I actually exchanged mine for a half a size smaller. It's weird because I tried the 7 in store and it looked good. But once at home, I realized a 6.5 would be better. Anyway, I hope yours fit. I'll post pics later this week!

I think that they strech a lot.. I have a 35 and a 35.5 and i think that they both essentiall fit. i think that as long as you are within a half of size.

I'm so confused, can somebody tell me how many different shades of gold Lanvin flats were made this summer? All the pictures I find on the 'net look slightly different, it's like there are three or four different colours - silver-gold, yellow-gold, tan-gold...and all shades in between!

^^^ the only two i have seen in person are the tan-gold (leather and not metallic) and the silver-gold (leather and metallic) which i own. i can take a pic, but i think i posted a pic awhile back. there was a yellow-gold, but i never saw these irl, so i am not sure of the tone. to be honest, the gold-silver look much more gold than silver. they are kind of a cracked looking metallic leather if that makes sense. hope this helps!

Ugg! I tried on the tan/browns in 38.5 and they're too small! Are the sizes this inconsistent? My others are 38 & 38.5, and they're fine...and when I had ordered the navys in 39, they were too big (but these were patents). I got them almost two weeks ago, but just got home from a trip so now my barney's is sold out of the larger sizes. How frustrating. The leather on these are incredible this season compared to last, atleast in the brown so if you can get your hands on some, they're so worth it!

Thanks Mona13, I found your pic from a while ago and I'm pretty sure we have the same colour.

The first photo is of mine, the second is from ebay.com...I guess it's possible that the lighting could be way off but I've found enough photos that look like this to suggest that there might be a more silvery colour out there. Nobody I've asked actually knows of its existence though, so it could just be that the photos are off.

There was a dark (yellowish) gold and light gold last season. The light gold looked kind of silvery and that box was last season so that may be what it is. I saw the light golds on bobellisshoes.com and thought they looked almost silver.

Yeah, I think there were probably two different colours then. Thanks! I'm gonna keep an eye out for the silvery ones on ebay (though I'll probably never see them, even less likely in my size).

Sometimes I think this thread should be named "Lanvin Flats" instead ...

I agree :p

Zadig & Voltaire just sent me an email with their flats...

sorry they're so small, but i'm not an expert in picture attatchments.. they cost 75 Euros. I'm not gonna get them, but maybe someone else here will be interested :flower:

Thanks so much for that!
I love those Zadig & Voltaire...I think I'm going to go and check them out in the London store

ok, I get it. I officially get the fuss over the lanvin flats. I tried a pair on tonight, and these shoes are genius. like butter. like being barefoot but still with support, that inside hidden cushioning is dreamy. :crush:

so if anyone is looking for plain black leather or a tan/camel leather, the barneys in chestnut hill, mass has them.
