Oh? This is not really what the aesthetic that I have come to associate with Balmain as of late. I hate to judge a campaign based on just one image, but right now it looks very Victoria's Secret.

I understand that outdoors feeling, given the hippie-ness of the collection, but I really do not think that's the right dress to convey that. I'll just have to wait and see what the rest of this looks like. Thanks though style expert for posting that.

the photo looks very amateur . .
daria's pose is like a stripper (sorry) . . so fake + overdone

and the clothes just look bad

I agree is't not very Balmain. But I still think its a great image.

And I think in this case you can only judge it on one picture because Balmain campaigns only have one picture, lately.

Well that is an absolute shame because there are definitely better looks from this collection that would have been far better suited for this setting. Thanks for the information mikel, though who knows, maybe this is the season where we get multiple images...

This sort of reminds me of this seasons Gucci campaign. And I have to agree with others on the fact that this just seemed... wrong when I first saw it. Not what I would have thought for Balmain.

Totally agree with YAARS on this. It's very catalog, with the exception of the dress.

If this had been shot in Vegas, very showgirl looking in the desert at night, it might have worked....as it is now it's like what's this hooker doing in a pueblo village.
