Balmain S/S 2015 : Adriana, Crista, Isabeli, Joan & Rosie by Mario Sorrenti

Some great moments and some not great in this campaign. But overall not bad, great casting.

Even though I think they're really bad for the most part, I'm under the impression Crista is sort of a hidden gem in most of the shots

Great concept and cast, but the pictures are so incredibly photoshopped and overly saturated that all look horribly masculine. I couldn't even tell that it's Rosie whose in the campaign.

It looks basically the same with last season's campaign. It's just they're doing something this time like eating or playing games. Even the outfits look the same

Beyond ugly and try-hard! The cast is awful too.

What can you expect? It's a round up of the most insufferable girls at the moment. I cant even single the worst looking one out out from these images. At least it suits the tawdry and tackiness of this label.

I like the idea , I sort of like the cast, but the images look so forced it just ruins everything.

I like the cast, but the clothes are just fugly beyond belief. Like someone said earlier, Balmain under Decarnin was tacky, but at least it was a semi-desirable tackiness. Now the clothes are just god awful.

One of the worst collections Ive ever seen. The campaign looks....just too sweaty.

For me, the campaign images resemble outtakes from an editorial as opposed to a coherent advertising campaign but nonetheless, I love what I'm seeing here! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Adriana Lima are the standout models. Yet all the girls compliment one another perfectly!

I'm surprised Isabeli doesn't seem to have a standout shot. I feel usually she knows how to make multi-girl campaigns work. I like Adriana in this campaign and add on to her HF portfolio for her fantastic year.

I like Crista. I've been dying to see her in more mainstream stuff and I definitely think she held out well with the cast.

I understand they wanted to go for a "dewey" look with the models, but they all look like they've been bobbing for French-fries.

That said, the airbrushing here looks like Mert & Marcus-style airbrushing. I hope that style isn't soooo influential that it becomes an actual "look" in modern-day advertising.
