Beauty Blender

I bought it but still haven't used it..my question is does it work better with liquid/gel/cream or powder?

does anybody know how long they last for? certainly looks interesting!

I've heard that they can last for about 6 months or so..but it all depends on how you take care of it^^sounds a bit like a baby bird..

This is the only thing I use for everything that has to do with base makeup- everything except eye and lip products. When it's dry you can't beat its coverage for powder blush and powder foundation- I tried the powder foundation when it's moist too, perfect! My skin is oily and the water it holds makes my skin look fresh and matt at the same time- no chalky texture that is very common with powder foundations. Also its pointy tip is the best thing in the world for the sides of the nose and the inner corners of the eyes and also it glides so smoothly on the cheeks when you just hold it vertically..I love it! And I've been using it for 2+ years now so I don't know where the "6 months or so" comes from..you just have to cleance it frequently :flower:

Where did you buy it Loonaka? Is it available in any stores over here yet?

I was watching a "making of" video of the G-Star campaign with Liv Tyler, and the makeup artist was using a Beauty Blender ^_^

I've just ordered one off ebay. Will review when I've used it!

The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to go to the bath room to put water on it and I like doing my makeup in bed since the light is so bad in my bath room

Ok so I've had it nearly a week and I'm in love. It makes applying foundation a breeze. I've tried it with Armani LSF - great. With MAC Select Tint - great. With Everyday Minerals Original Glo mineral loose foundation - especially great. It goes on a lot smoother and just makes me look more polished. I used it to apply NARS Turkish Red cream blush and it worked a treat, much better than my fingers. Also applies concealer well. It didn't work too well with my Alima loose mineral blush but I was just experimenting so wasn't too fazed by that and it may well work if I play with it a bit more. I agree, the only annoying thing is to run to the sink to wet it in the mornings because I do my makeup in my bedroom.

^Thanks. And how you apply the cream blush with the beautyblender?
I always fear that it might look splotchy or "too much".

I dab the larger end in the pan and stipple it out on my cheek if that makes sense. It looks far more natural than when I do it with my fingers!

I do the same, only I dab it on the back of my hand a couple of times after originally dabbing it onto the blush to stop from too much product getting on my cheeks in the first application...
