Does anybody remember this shop in Paris or even heard of it? Just curious if it were still open as when I go to Paris I'd love to check it out. I searched but all I found were articles from 00-01 but nothing else. They used to carry things from labels like Bless,Mandarina Duck,Jurgi P. etc.

Scott - yes I remember it well. it was just beside Madeleine. Its not there anymore. It was kind of cool - going down the concept store route & then it just closed. I don't know what happened. I had my nails painted by an asian girl there once & my sister got a skirt there. Et Vous still exsists - theres a newish store on Rue du Faubourg st honore but its not like that shop used to be - theres also one on the Rue des francs bourgeois in the Marais.

Interestingly softgrey was talking about le coq sportif a while back - this shop had heaps of le coq gear.

Well,I was going to go during the défilés the 27th but all the Hotels I checked are booked. So I might have to wait till October and just book a month or so ahead. I go mainly because I need to mingle with the fashion people for work.

Thank you for telling about the shop. That's really too bad. It looked very very cool. Mostly because I liked the approach. I think they were like the now defunct Yasmin Cho of London,in that the whole premise was based around unique pieces.

scott - I am in paris that week too. Didn't have a problem with hotels but we stay out at Nation so its probably not where the fashion crowd would stay. I am really looking forward to it - its a great vibe in fashion week. hope you manage to get a hotel....are you wanting to stay somewhere in particular?

Yes the new Et Vous is very different - I think it must have been bought by a chain or something. Its a shame as you might have liked it.

God I can't remember the name but there was one on a small street not too far from Notre Dame,that somebody suggested to me a while back. It was like 88€ a night for a single. Something decent and something affordable.

Really,it doesn't matter where I stay. I think centrally would just a bit more convenient for me till I get used to the city. Because it is not like Antwerp! But maybe just so long as its close to a métro station,I guess.

Scott - i did ask at the hotel we stay at if there was any room at the inn (so to speak) but unfortunately it was NAY. Sorry - I hope you find somewhere - or book early next time!
