It IS true.

KARL LAGERFELD has cancelled his signature collection show, due to happen during Paris Fashion Week. He will instead focus on a new collection entitled Masstige, based on the idea of "mass elitism".

Lagerfeld's signature line will assume a more commercial approach and the Chanel creative director will have less central involvement. He will instead concentrate on his new ready-to-wear range, which will be sold online and ready for the autumn/winter 2011 season.

The Lagerfeld company told WWD that negotiations are under way "for the distribution and production of the designer's new vision".

I would assume they are showing, afterall they did menswear on the runway. Its the show i am most interested in and am really puzzled as to why there's been no info yet.
