You have to be really thin to not look like you've only put on an old tee. and you'd have to pair it with skinny jeans...

I think Alison/VV from the Kills does this look better than anyone I have seen. But I think you have to be pretty skinny and look torn up to make it work.

I think it's either hit or miss... if you're skinny and pair it with skinny jeans and 'cool' accessories and it fits your style/attitude you can definitely pull it off... but it shouldn't look forced (that's the same with any look)
