I was JUST about to post those! Here's the short little blog.

The Virgins are New York City’s next official homeboys. Gone are the days where you saw little humble performances at Piano’s or quaint friends & family style shows at Thompkins Square Park on a sticky summer day. Ahhh, the good ol days. The secret got out when the TV show Gossip Girl played 4 songs (yes 4 songs) in one episode. The placement launched furious chatboard threads on YouTube with cute young girls begging to know — “who the hell are these guys!?”

About 2 weeks ago, Kai dragged the band to Lit in the East Village to shoot their video for “Rich Girl”, a local sing-a-long anthem of downtown New York for over a year now — due to their early EP sold at the early shows. The sultry siren protagonist, Behati, acts out the narrative, short and sweet — wild girl corrupts boys in a bar. These are sneak peek pics before the video drops later this summer.

I really can't wait to see the video. I keep checking youtube and their website!

PERFECT FOR PINK

May 23, 2008 -- BEHATI Prinsloo , 19, who hails from Namibia, is being groomed to be "the next Gisele Bundchen" at Victoria's Secret (which Bundchen left last year). The 5-foot-10 stunner - discovered three years ago while on holiday in Cape Town, South Africa - was just signed as the face (or body) of the Victoria's Secret Pink line. We're told the lingerie company "sees her as the next big spokesmodel" for the entire brand. Watch out, Heidi Klum!

Victoria's Secret is apparently grooming Namibian Behati Prinsloo to be "the next Gisele".
The nineteen year old's already posed for Nina Ricci, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Gap and H&M.
She signed on to model for the lingerie company at the end of February, but we think she's really too cool looking to just be a Pink girl anyway.
We're more excited to see her debut in the new, and actually first, Virgins video this summer rather than on mall billboards and catalog covers.
Not to mention we can't think of anything weirder than rocking out with New York's favorite underground/non-underground band while simultaneously hawking low-rise sweatpants with 'pink' plastered across the butt.
Guess our summers are usually more low key.

she was never official. They always use different models for the PINK collection, but only choose certain ones to represent their Pink Line.
