prinsloo is a classic afrikaans name. there are many "prinsloo's" in South Africa so her last name is not unique at all. as far as Behati, my guess is that its an African/Namibian name. And Afrikaans is very similar to Dutch, it is actually kinda Dutch really, with slightly different words and over-all grammer mixed with local african vocabulary. a native dutch person could understand Afrikaans and vise versa. so while Behati is technically an Afrikaaner, she is ethnically Dutch, probs. from south holland where lots of farmers left to go to South Africa. AHH, sorry for the long explination...I just heart behati soo much!!

I am from South Africa and know about the backgrounds of ppl here so maybe I can help with her roots. Many people from Namibia are either from German heritage (a lot of German speakers there!) or Afrikaans, which is a culture that evolved from the Dutch settlers who came to South Africa in the 17th century. I am guessing that she's of Dutch heritage because her surname is Afrikaans, but she's probably mixed with some French or German as most people in South Africa and Namibia are mixed in a pot full of cultures!
