Best Curling Iron / Tongs?

Hi

i need a bit of help. i have thick hair which only a ghd can actually straighten- and i like that but i also like the look of curls.

i know i can use a ghd to do it but trust me wasnt the best when i tried it. so i want to know what is the curling equivelent of a ghd. most curling irons are not very hot or dont last very long. but i want like loose curls that stay in my hair for at least 4 hours.

help help help! i know u fabulous beautiful people out there will be in the no as to what is the good tools!!!

have you tried a professional ceramic or tourmaline curler? I have a ceramic curling iron by Babyliss which is great. the heat settings are super hot so hair curls faster and stay in longer.
