With the recent announcement that John Galliano's successor at Dior won't be named until Fall, it gives us plenty of time to speculate about who will take over his position. Rumors have been flying that Riccardo Tisci is a shoo-in, but there is more than one contender we would love to see take the reins at the iconic house. TFS places bets on the top contenders, tell us who you think will take the reins at Dior.

Crack idea: Karl should take over Dior as well, he manages Chanel/Fendi and 670945 other projects with ease, knows couture inside out, has unmatched celebrity factor etc. He'd be perfect. The very least, he should do couture and Dior's capable in-house design team could cook up the rtw, accessories and so on.

^please no

Is a crack idea anyhow, but for realz... Why not? It can hardly be that atrocious and very least it would be a bit updated New Look not just recolored archive pieces.:lol: It certainly would be easier on eyes than Haider Ackermann's vision.

None of them, somehow I'm expecting some random choice.

none of them of course. I would for once see a female designer at the helm.

None of them. Riccardo was too good for Givenchy they would not risk taking him out of it, Haider Ackermann is Karl Lagerfeld's subistitute at Chanel and Lanvin does not exist without Alber. IMO, Theyskens is the best option for Dior.

None of the above, I think it will have to be someone with at least a similar aesthetic to watered-down Galliano, I think the Dior customer expects a certain thing these days.
Though a change is totally welcome!

Voted none of them. I think a fresher faced designer will be better
