Did anyone buy this book or know anything about its content? I heard that it's actually a compilation of their old catalogue, is that true? I am thinking if I should get it, it's kind of expensive though ($59.00). Amazon.com actually has this book right now, but they hardly tell you anything about the content inside. Thanks for any information!

Here's the cover picture from Amazon.com

the book is a complilation of most of things they've done since they started. it also includes interviews as well. it seems expensive but there's nearly 500 pages worth of images, well worth purchasing i think. there's also a dvd of short films of theirs floating around as well.

and they started in 1997 btw so that does indeed go back a long way. and i assume that also includes all their collaborations as well...incl. their infamous fur hats for MMM's from A/W 97??

So what exactly is Bless? The pdf said "a project that presents ideal and artistic values by products to the public." Have any more candid descriptions?

^Okay, thanks. That's what I originally thought, but I ended up getting confused by their vagueness.

i totally need this book asap.. love bless

thanks for bringing ther newsbit in

ilaughhead, you should check out the entire site. that was only a section....look on the products page, that's where you'll see their works.

Thanks for the info, everyone! I was checking their website yesterday, it's really amazing how many shops in Japan carry Bless's stuff. I wonder if lots of the avant-garde fashion houses in Europe could even survive without the Japanese market.

oh wow, their site has a lot of eye candy. I want to buy this book!

Haven't checked out the book myself, I should drop at some friend's place to take a look but haven't done so yet, however I got excellent feedback from various Bless fans. Keep in mind that I'm not sure you'll enjoy this as much if you're just discovering the label.

looking fwd to hearing more about this!
i want to buy it but i absolutely can't afford it righ tnow
