Nice observation guis. In the image you posted it looks as if 'it' attaches at the models hip on the right..
making me think it is a garment, perhaps a one shoulder vest type thing as you suggested.

In post #4, the 6th image shows the back view of the female model wearing the beige one.
It doesn't appear to have any fastenings, or compartments you would expect to find on a bag.
It's hard to tell...

btw,jhamie...i only reiterated what was said on the blurb. the initial images didn't really illustrate much. i do know the difference.
